選擇某種像星星一樣的東西

它要求我們擁有某種高度

俾在有時候當群眾掌握了一切

把讚美和指責搞得過了頭

我們可以選擇某種像星星一樣的東西

來支撐我們的心

保持沉著

Choose something like a star

O Star (the fairest one in sight),
We grant your loftiness the right
To some obscurity of cloud --
It will not do to say of night,
Since dark is what brings out your light.
Some mystery becomes the proud.
But to be wholly taciturn
In your reserve is not allowed.
Say something to us we can learn
By heart and when alone repeat.
Say something! And it says "I burn."
But say with what degree of heat.
Talk Fahrenheit, talk Centigrade.
Use language we can comprehend.
Tell us what elements you blend.
It gives us strangely little aid,
But does tell something in the end.
And steadfast as Keats' Eremite,
Not even stooping from its sphere,
It asks a little of us here.
It asks of us a certain height,
So when at times the mob is swayed
To carry praise or blame too far,
We may choose something like a star
To stay our minds on and be staid.

----佛洛斯特 ( Robert Frost 1874-1963)

To echo Robert Frost’s poem, Oscar Wilde also wrote this in his play “Lady Windermere’s Fan”

“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.”

My dear doc, are you also looking at the stars?

Love you, 2.

I'm reading a book call Kite Runner(追風箏的孩子)these days.., there's a quote in it says "If you don't look up the sky, there's no way you can continue to survive..."
glad to know you share that little sentimentalness like me.

Dear little star,

I'm in the gutter and looking at the star.

Sometimes I'm happy but usually sad because the star is so far away.

Dear redcomet,

I appreciate your quotion.
Why did you go to bed so late or wake up so early?
